Other important notes:

NEVER put your teleseminar on hold!  If you must step away, even for a few minutes, please hang up and dial back in later.  Hold music can interrupt the program for everyone.

During the call all lines will be muted except the presenters.  Twice during the presentation and once at the end, your group will be invited to offer questions and/or comments.

During the question and answer periods when all lines are open, sometimes background noise can be heard.  To keep this to a minimum, please press the "mute" button on your phone or dial "star 6" to mute your phone automatically.

Continuing Education and Feedback:

Continuing Education Units are available for nurses.  To apply for CEU's, click here to download the Session Evaluation Form.  This form is required of anyone requesting CEU's.  Print a copy of the form for every person.

Session Evaluation Forms used for CEU's are valuable tools for Leading Home Care.  Even if you do not need CEU's, you are invited to evaluate the session and provide both praise and areas for improvement.

You may also give feedback by calling 1-888-668-9333 and speaking to Jason Tweed.

Troubleshooting:

"I'm receiving a busy signal."

  • Occasionally, when dialing into your session, you may receive a busy signal.  This simply means that too many users are dialing simultaneously.  Please re-dial approximately 30 seconds later.  It's rare to get more than one busy signal.  Everyone should be able to dial in on the first or second try.

"I'm receiving repeated 'fast busy' signals."

  • This is a telephone company issue.  It means all circuits serving your part of the country are busy.  This usually resolves itself within five minutes.  Keep dialing.

"We can't hear the presenters or the sound fades in and out."

  1. Check your telephone volume and make sure it is on high.

  2. If you are using a speaker phone, press mute or "star 6".  Voice activated speaker phone sometimes muffle your party when background noise is in your room.

  3. If this doesn't fix the problem, hang up and dial back in.

"We hear excess static on the line."

  1. Hang up and dial back in.  You may have received a poor phone company connection.

  2. If this doesn't fix the problem, check your telephone to make sure it is securely plugged into the wall.

  3. If this doesn't fix the problem, try switching telephones.

"I'm still having trouble, or having a problem not listed here."
