Teleseminars --
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Teleseminar?
The term teleseminar is short for telephone seminar.
Leading Home Care offers telephone seminars as an affordable and
convenient way to conduct in-house training for your management team
and staff.
A telephone seminar? Do we need any special
equipment?
No, all you need is a telephone. We recommend using
a conference room with speakerphone, particularly if several members
of your staff participate.
Are teleseminars pre-recorded messages?
No, each session is live. A professional
speaker, consultant, or other expert presents the programs live.
Can our staff participate and ask questions?
Absolutely, most of our seminars include live audience
participation. Two or three times during each session we
open the lines for questions, additionally, following each session
we have an extended question and answer period. Our experts
stay on the line as long as you wish to answer specific questions
about the topics. If you would prefer to ask questions with
more privacy, you may also email the guest experts.
What makes Leading Home Care teleseminars different?
First, we are experts in home health care and private duty
non-medical home care. We focus exclusively on developing
leadership, marketing, staffing and customer service excellence.
While several companies offer Medicare coding information, and basic
business advice, Leading Home Care is the only company dedicated to
Growing your Business, and Multiplying your Performance.
How long does each program last?
Each program varies, depending on the content, however typical
programs include a 60-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute Q
& A session. We also recommend that your team set aside at
least an additional 30 minutes following the program to discuss the
training within the context of your organization. Companies
that set aside a total of two hours, and encourage discussion
and participation both during and after each teleseminar will
receive the most value.
Who calls who?
About 5 minutes prior to each program participants dial a
regular telephone number. Immediately you will receive a
prompt to enter a passcode. Enter your six digit
password followed by the # button.
How do we receive the telephone number and passcode?
The telephone number and passcode are delivered
by email, two days prior to each teleseminar. Your company
provided one email address per location upon registration.
This email address is used. The email comes from our
registration coordinator, Diane West.
